About chef jom
Jomilee (she/they) is a Filipina Chef based in Tkaronto who has been in the hospitality and culinary arts industry for three years. Currently, she is working as a Senior Line Cook in Alder and BBs, both Michelin-recognized restaurants. These establishments challenge her culinary skills and knowledge, pushing her discipline in the kitchen. As a food enthusiast since she was young, she seeks to reimagine the Filipino cuisine she grew up with, fuse it with modern techniques she has learned in her career so far, and explore more of what Filipino cuisine offers. Along with her sister, she is committed to bringing people together to connect through the food she serves as everyone explores themselves as individuals and as a part of a new community.
